NAD+

NAD, or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is a coenzyme of vitamin B3 (niacin) and is present in basically every cell in our body. It is comparable to gas in a car, with its main purpose being promoting metabolic reactions within the body. NAD+ therapy has been shown by studies to boost immunity and organ function, improve longevity through its anti-aging properties, and protect against cancers and DNA damage.

How it works

The body produces its own NAD+; the only problem is that our levels decrease as we age, which has led scientists to suggest that aging and age-related illness are associated with declining NAD+ levels. An infusion of NAD+ involves delivery of an active form of the vitamin directly into the bloodstream. Duration of an infusion of NAD+ depends on the patient’s condition and dosage they receive. Intravenous NAD+ infusions are not known to have any serious side effects but some common effects felt during treatment include soreness at the injection site, abdominal cramping, and nausea.

At One Body Medicine, your NAD+ infusion treatment plan is tailored specifically to your needs and health care goals. Infusions are done in a comfortable lounge setting and last anywhere from 45 minutes to several hours.

There is a $75 cancellation fee unless given a 24 hour notice.
